Project Leaders

 

Bill Cahill (Project Manager for Construction of Pre-Engineered Projects) - Bill has been with BUIST since 2004. He has been in the industry for over 38 years and is a Licensed Master Plumber N.J. 9756. Before coming to BUIST he owned his own Mechanical Engineering Company, Cahill Mechanical, for 12 years. Bill has a good working relationship with multi-national pharmaceutical companies as well as other well known corporations, Universities and Hospitals.

Armando D’Arrico (Chief Estimator for Construction of Pre-Engineered Projects) – Armando has been with BUIST since April 2004 and has been in the industry for over 36 years. He began his career as a layout draftsman for a major mechanical contractor producing coordinated drawings of mechanical systems and mechanical rooms for fabrication and installation of mechanical and plumbing piping for commercial, industrial and institutional projects. He became an estimator, a purchasing agent and then a project manager. As project manager he handled projects from estimating and purchasing thru project completion. He has taken various HVAC design classes and MCAA courses as well as Safety and certifications in Confined Space and Fall Protection.

Tom Bell (Project Manager for Design Build Department) - Tom started with BUIST in March 2009 as Project Manager. He has over 35 years experience in engineering and project management related to infrastructure alterations and improvements for industries such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, pharmaceutical research & development, hospitals and health care, and commercial retail and office buildings and has experience in managing many multi-million dollar projects. He is certified in Piping Modeling, HVAC Modeling, Load Calculation and Energy Calculation Programs. He has training/certification in OSHA standards. Tom is working toward his LEED Green Associate.

John Calaguire (Sheet Metal Manager/Estimator for Construction of Pre-Engineered Projects) - John began working with BUIST in 2005 as A Foreman/Project Manager. He has been a member of Local 22 sheet metal Union for 24 years. He started his career as an apprentice for 5 years and became a sheet metal Journeyman, Foreman, Supervisor/Draftsman, and finally Project Manager/Estimator. He is also a certified Draftsman.
